Dysport is an anti-aging injectable prepared with abobotulinumtoxinA (Botulinum toxin type A). This Botulinum toxin blocks nerve impulses, causing a temporary reduction in muscle activity when injected into specific areas where constant frowning or squinting has etched creases in the face. Dysport can be used in adults under the age of 65 to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, worry lines across the forehead, and crow’s feet around the eyes.
Dysport Treatment Plan
Dysport treatments usually take about 15-20 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated. Results are temporary, and treatments should be administered no more than once every 90 days. Since this treatment only involves injections, most patients find the pinpricks highly tolerable. However, if you are very sensitive to injections, treatment areas can be numbed with a topical anesthetic.
The Dysport will be injected directly into the muscles that cause frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and/or crow’s feet. Because the treatments are so fast and easy, appointments can be scheduled before or after work or during lunch breaks. There is no recovery time, so expect to resume your normal activities after the procedure is over. However, you should not lie down for at least 4 hours.

Dysport spreads somewhat farther from the injection site than does Botox. This means fewer Dysport injections may be required to smooth vertical lines between the eyebrows and horizontal lines across the forehead.
Absolutely not. At Danik, we adjust each patient’s disport dosage to achieve the desired correction and the desired facial mobility.
The effects of Dysport injections are local only. This formulation does not spread via the bloodstream to other locations in the body.
The answer is no. The accumulated results from ongoing Dysport use are fewer lines and wrinkles in the treated areas. If you only use Dysport infrequently, you will not be more prone to wrinkles when you stop the injections.
Dysport’s results begin to appear within one to seven days, with 3 days being the average. And results typically last up to 4 months.
