Will extractions hurt or cause redness?
You may feel brief pressure or mild discomfort during extractions. Our aestheticians use softening agents and precise technique to minimize irritation. Temporary redness can occur and usually settles within a few hours. Cooling products and simple aftercare help speed recovery.
How often should I get a facial?
Most clients benefit from a facial every 4 to 6 weeks to align with the skin renewal cycle. For acne-prone skin, monthly sessions are ideal. Sensitive skin types may follow a gentler cadence recommended by your aesthetician.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime. You can resume normal activities right away. Minor redness may appear after extractions and typically subsides within 1 to 24 hours. Avoid heavy workouts, hot tubs, and direct sun the same day, and always apply SPF.
Who should avoid a facial?
Postpone treatment if you have an active skin infection, open lesions, sunburn, or have used isotretinoin within 6 months. Pause strong retinoids and exfoliants 3 to 5 days prior unless directed otherwise. Many steps are pregnancy-safe, but always inform your provider so we can adjust products and techniques.
