Does it hurt or cause downtime?
Treatment is generally comfortable and feels like a light scratching with gentle suction. Most people return to normal activities immediately. Mild pinkness can occur and typically fades within an hour or two.
How many sessions will I need?
You will see a fresh glow after one session. For texture, discoloration, and pore concerns, a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart provides the best cumulative results. Maintenance every 4 to 8 weeks helps keep your glow.
How long does an appointment take?
Most sessions take 30 to 45 minutes, including cleansing, exfoliation, and finishing products. Add-on areas or enhancements may extend the visit slightly.
Who is not a candidate?
Microdermabrasion is not recommended on open acne lesions, active cold sores, eczema or psoriasis flares, inflamed rosacea, recent sunburn, or immediately after aggressive peels or lasers. If you use prescription retinoids or have had recent cosmetic procedures, we will guide you on proper timing.
