Results will develop over time and with subsequent treatments. Full results can be expected at 3-6 months following the last treatment. Maintenance treatments may be necessary where skin damage is sever.

Most patients experience redness and swelling for a few hours to 3 days after the treatment (occasionally it can last longer). You may apply makeup to the treated area immediately after the procedure. Tiny crusts develop and are present for about 5-14 days, but these are easy to camouflaged with makeup.

This procedure is may cause modest discomfort equal to the snapping of a rubber band. However, the sensation is minimized by a topical anesthetic that is applied prior to the treatment.

Patients can expect a noticeable reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne and other scarring. In addition, patients will see an improvement in texture as well as skin laxity.
